Barn Cat Buddies - Frederick County, Maryland & Nearby is in the business of changing and shaping lives. The work we do supports our County Shelter and the needy cats that come in through no fault of their own. Shelter staff evaluate cats that they think we can help by fostering and/or adopting to a suitable home. That may be a barn, a store, a brewery or a conventional indoor home.

We do not have a physical location and are unable to take cats directly from the public - we network for cats currently at the Maryland- Frederick County Animal Control and occasionally from
Humane Society of Washington County and Montgomery County Animal Services.
Here at Barn Cat Buddies - Frederick County, MD & Nearby, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in helping cats that are either not suited to be 'indoor only' cats or cats too stressed at the shelter to be placed on the adoption floor.
